Roles And Responsibilities
- Create multiple compelling images and 30-60 second videos that will take 30 minutes or less to produce
- Write headlines, summaries and choose thumbnails for videos
- Perform any other reasonable duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business
- Learn and use non-AI and AI-enhanced tools to generate and edit visual content. Tools include Canva, ClipChamp, Firefly, Flourish, Google Earth Studio and more
- Ensure all visuals on the website meet Newsweek’s journalistic and editorial standards
Requirements
- A team player, self-starter and goal-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines
- Perform various other tasks on an as-needed basis to meet production needs
- Familiar with social media platforms, especially YouTube
