Roles And Responsibilities
- This position will be to help design and execute productivity aids required for the infrastructure
- The intern will have the opportunity to experience firsthand what a mainframe customer expects from IBM as well as the technical complexity of this machine
- The intern will be assigned to a sub-team within our Product Engineering team or the OS support team that supports the service structure and serviceability of our mainframe product set
- Computer Science skills are highly desired and preferred however an electrical engineering background would also be beneficial
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of any programming languages: C, C++, Java, Assembly
- Passion to pursue career path in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Strong Communication Skills and Good debugging skills
- Fundamental education in software design and test
- Knowledge of web and mobile application development
- Development knowledge of Unix/Linux kernel functionality
