About Amazon Job Summary
As part of the Packaging Lab team, this position is primarily responsible for testing packages in accordance with documented laboratory processes that simulate the Amazon fulfillment network.
This position is within the Packaging Innovation organization and the work directly impacts global packaging automation and reduction goals, in support of Amazon’s Climate Pledge. Packaging Lab Technicians also support other various packaging and robotics requests, including limited travel to fulfillment centers and corporate offices.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Conduct both in-person and virtual packaging testing and document results
- Communicate with vendors and internal customers in a timely and concise manner
- Review customer feedback and use packaging expertise to advise internal teams
- Supporting internal teams with project launches and trials, including (less than 10%) out-of-state travel
- Maintain and promote safety within the Lab
- Interact with non-English-speaking stakeholders, using available translation tools when necessary
- Participate in varied Packaging and Robotics onsite and virtual support projects
- Manage multiple projects and varying tasks simultaneously
- Review 3rd-party test reports, demonstrating high attention to detail
- Regular lab cleaning, preventative maintenance, and 5S
Job Requirements
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in an operational role
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
