Roles And Responsibilities
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions and identify any discrepancies
- Expense Management: Review employee expense reports, verify receipts, and reconcile credit card expenses
- Tax Preparation Support: Assist in gathering and organizing financial data for tax filings, working closely with the accounting and tax team
- Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation, both physically and electronically
- Collaborative Support: Work closely with the finance team and cross-functional departments to provide accurate financial information and support
- Financial Data Entry: Accurately record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries into QuickBooks
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory. Additional experience with other accounting software is a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of fintech or banking industry practices is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
