You will work with Cision’s clients who are utilizing PR Newswire to distribute their press release. This includes counseling clients on products and industry best practices while ensuring their press releases are distributed accurately and on time.

Customer Specialist will understand the customer’s needs and meet their expectations every time, while providing professional and consultative service via the telephone, online chat and email.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • You will not be writing pieces from scratch, but you will need a strong grasp of syntax, punctuation, and the English language in general to be a success at this job
  • Your ability to think on your feet and prioritize tasks will serve you well in this fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • One of your main responsibilities will be to proofread press releases written by our clients for delivery to the media
  • Razor-sharp attention to detail will be a prerequisite, as you edit, format, and handle various client requests, and other news content

Job Requirements

  • Must have excellent customer service skills, along with proofreading, communication, and keyboarding skills
  • Must be flexible with schedule, with some OT and holiday coverage required
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and capable of working in a Windows environment
