Roles And Responsibilities

  • Continuously develop skills and upskill to languages like Python etc and deepen data knowledge to support closure of projects, ensure correct data is being supplied to stakeholders, deliver analytical requirements per the requirements and provide best-in-class analytics
  • Using SAS & SQL skills, query databases and research to identify correction population and estimate financials for the impacted population
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders like Project Managers, Business Analysts etc across the firm to understand the context of projects including the issue and then use analytic techniques to carry out requirements (which requires translating high-level requirements into steps) and drive meaningful insights from the data
  • Automate analytics steps which are repetitive between cases and contribute to strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure analytics steps are accurate through attention to detail and support the independent Validation team with an understanding of case requirements and code

Requirements

  • Data Wrangling & Interpreting the statistics: Able to query data from multiple sources with considerations for manipulations/aggregation
  • Logical reasoning – translating plain English requirements into codes and driving analytical insights out of it
  • Prior experience with SAS and another programming language, e.g. Python, R, SQL, Java
  • Flexible individual who can easily and efficiently transition across topics and disciplines and Lines of Business
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to deliver value-added support to business partners in a dependable, timely and accurate manner
  • Proficiency with standard MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize data and information into executive summaries, briefs and/or reports
  • Demonstrates personal dedication and strong work ethic, sets high standards for self with a strong willingness to learn and take feedback
