Job Summary

The Assistant Manager will develop tools and processes to collect, measure and report the performance data, and use that data to improve quality and productivity metrics. It will lead and manage teams responsible for the ingestion of data and proofing of content to ensure product deliveries and deadlines are met. This person will be responsible for ensuring quality, coverage, and reliability of metadata ingested into the Gracenote database product.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and implement efficiencies to improve workflows within the team/department.
  • Actively provide coverage solutions for public holidays, after hours, and unexpected peak loads if required
  • Provide leadership for day-to-day operations and customer projects in accordance with established goals and budgets
  • Develop processes and tools to measure, assess and report the team’s performance
  • Maintain effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders
  • Manage the annual associate goal process and end of year reviews, ensure these are completed in full by the required deadlines

Job Requirements

  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Ready to work in a 24/7 operation, including evening, night and weekend shifts
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Knowledge of international TV shows, and the media sector in general, is desirable
